The powers of Turmeric
Turmeric is my favorite spice in the whole wide world. I can even sprinkle it on toast and eat it. It has a special aroma and a divine taste that makes your mouth to experience heaven. I may have jumped the cord a little bit, but you get my point; it’s very tasty and can go on most of your meals. I started using it with rice. It gives it a gold shade and a great taste. Now I put it even in my scrambled eggs. I love it. But Turmeric doesn’t add just a special flavor to your food it also has health benefits galore.
Turmeric is a major ingredient in Indian curries; it is what gives many Indian Foods their yellow color and is a member of the ginger family. It has been used for centuries by Chinese and Ayurvedic doctors and now studies have confirmed its great health properties that this super spice has.

There are some studies which shown that curcumin may have an anti-tumor effect. There is also some evidence that cancer may be prevented in occurring in the first place, especially cancers of the digestive system.
The curcumin contained in turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that will help relieve symptoms from conditions caused by inflammation.
