Strange as it may sound, I just can’t figure it out how this previous week passed! It just feels that time is contracting and all we have left by the end of the week is a headache, stressful thoughts and a couple of good memories, if I had a good week.
I know I have to think positively, do exercises and try to give a little more time dedicated only to myself… but when? The only relaxing time is in the evenings when the only thought is to take a bubble bath where I can read a new chapter of the book that seems it would never end.
But today I tried a new thing to relieve my stress of that I chronically suffer, aromatherapy scents and oils. Yes, they smell sooo good and they are really effective! Some essential oils, have natural powers for soothing and calming the person that is experiencing the aromas. At first, maybe you should try to pour just a little in your bath, or in an aromatherapy candle, just to make sure that your senses will not respond in a negative way like a dizziness or a headache.
Probably the most known essential oil is lavender. It is best known for its potential to diffuse tension and anger, soothing the ‘uptight’ soul. Another great oil, one of my favorites is jasmine oil. Why? Because is called the King of Oils, and has the power to relax, prevent sadness and mental blockage! How great is that?
Rose or bergamot oil are also really good oils, they are known for reducing stress , depression and they are invigorating!
Neroli is an exotic oil extracted from the bitter orange and it is good for stress, anxiety, fear and lack of confidence.
And the last one that I want to tell you about is sandalwood oil. Originating from India, this oil can be a little tricky to find, because it is a treasure! This wonderful oil has the power to calm you and relieve your stress.
So there you have it… get your medicine cabinet packed with essential oils, get some great books to read because it always helps, and try to think positively all day long! Have a great day ahead of you!
