Ready to wear designs for this fall from NY Fashion Week’s best designers
Victoria Beckham’s new f/w line was an interesting surprise, for all the fashion critics. She matured, she gained a sophisticated allure that is easily identified in her creations.
Chic, simple, and cool, that was all we could see at Victoria Beckham fashion show, she was brilliant at giving us a new way of combining warm clothing with smart sophistication, not to mention that black and white and geometric lines were all over the place.
But the most interesting thing was that all the creations felt really cool and expensive. The expensive part was definitely about using the metal chain on dresses, and the great fabrics she gave life to.
Diane Von Fustenberg adapted for F/W 2014 the deep v neckline as a statement !
Inspired from the 70’s and from her latest collaboration with the movie director of American Hustle, Fustenberg created a line filled with geometric prints, combined with radiant colors like royal blue and radiant orchid on a chiffon dress, or a golden wrap dress designed to fit us perfectly for a party …in September!
It’s all about feminine shapes, brilliantly dressed to get all the attention!
Helmut Lang’s inspiration for fall/winter 2014 was galactic!
At Nicole and Michael Colovos of Helmut Lang, everything is from outer space! Furry Turtle necks, big chunky dresses, wool textures and big warm leather coats are in for f/w 2014.
The key is to think about the warmth of the clothes and not the weight of them, that is why the coats are literally filled with air pockets! Brilliant, in case that you find yourself in a air-free planet!
Patterns are geo-mathematically shaped, colors are kept in a monochrome area, with some touches of bold colors inside, and the final touch is the masculine-like boots, that will definitely be the edgy touch of the season.
NY Fashion Week inspired Altuzarra to play with colors that keep us warm!
Joseph Altuzarra kindly introduced us in the classy feminine era of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy with his fall 2014 collection.
Fleece coats, warm wool jackets and beautifully vibrant colors got our attention and imagination! Feminine hand woven dresses and tops completed the beautiful picture of joy and happiness.
Cool and allure never went better together, just dream about a chill November afternoon dressed in a Altuzarra jacket , and soon you will understand what I’m talking about!
Jason Wu’s fashion show In NY dressed supermodels from top to bottom!
Jason Wu’s surprise was seeing Adriana Lima in a suit! And I may say she looked gorgeous, powerfull and classy!
The Black wool suit with super wide wool crepe trousers were interesting and showed us that classic is the new chic! Wu filled the runway with pale colors, and shades of aubergine, wool as I mentioned before and turtleneck sweaters combined with precious fabrics like satin and velvet.
Long dresses made of precious fabrics weren’t directed to a soft and glam classic line but rather to the urban area, easily to match with a blazer.
At Wu’s f/w show we saw women that could fill the pants with confidence and enjoyed playing their part!
