As London Fashion Week has just finished, we could not just overlook the beautiful shows and the amazing catwalk dresses.
So here are some of the best looks of the LFW, according to my humble opinion. Hope you like them as much as I do!
MARKS & SPENCER at London Fashion Week
For the brand Marks & Spencer this was the first show ever , and they played it simple and safe. The models posed instead of catwalk-ing and wore simple dresses, mannish coats and structured knits, reminding us that we were in British land.
Belinda Earl, Style Director at M&S said: ‘It was a privilege to debut at London Fashion Week and showcase the Autumn 14 Best Of British collection. We were honored to share this prestigious platform and celebrate British design, craftsmanship and manufacturing.‘
Westwood went to a interesting direction, a British one too, but feminine, punk and glamorous. The staple piece was the heart-shaped blazer of course, wore with an attitude, and no makeup…almost none..really amazing ! Leather everywhere…but everything is feminine, for the young adventurous gal inside everyone of us.
TOPSHOP’S New Era
Top Shop is a fantastic surprise. In LFW the ever affordable brand showed bold colors, bomber jackets, small chic pants and the big picture is that every affordable brand can make you look like a million bucks!
DARTH VADER & PREEN
Preen show was all about luxurious soft fabrics as silk, combined with heavy coats, big furry ultra luxe hats and patterns. And when you see pattern at Preen you cans also find a darth vader picture and a bold color like blue and orange. It was a nice appearance!
Wickstead presented at LFW for autumn/winter 2014 a collection full of lace, feminine and classic, but with a splash of attitude.
Big leather coats, full rich evening dresses in sheer pink with floral designs, pearls and little rocks on the side. All in all, Wickstead inspired and made everyone dream about a fairy land.
