Go to the gym and start to work those abs and that diva derriere. The moment to leave your comfort zone and get into those snickers has arrived. Spring is in the air which means summer is just around the corner and there’s no time to waste procrastinating.
I followed my own advice and for about one month I’m going to the gym. Pilates is my favorite. I think it suits me perfectly. I have some back pain issues and I already feel much better. It’s very good for your posture, especially if you’re not standing right, for your breathing and, of course, for your muscles.
But if you don’t like Pilates, it doesn’t matter. You can do yoga, cycling, fitness or any other sport you like as long as you exercise. If you can’t go to the gym, is still no excuse not to work out. You can run, jump the cord or do aerobic in your own living room following YouTube videos or DVDs you own. So make a habit in working those muscles. The results will start to appear in a couple of months and in the summer you’ll have a killer body just waiting to be shown in a swim suit.
Live a healthy lifestyle!
I can write a book on this subject but for now I will only tell just a few things that will help you improve your lifestyle. If you want more, the rest is up to you.
“You are what you eat” is not just a saying. So be very careful what you put in your mouth. Try to eat as much as possible fresh fruits and vegetables, locally grown. If you can buy them organic, from a farmer’s market it would be even better.
Drink plenty of liquids, about to liters of water. Also, don’t forget about the glass of water in the morning on an empty stomach.
Try to get rid of all the stress in your life. I know that is impossible so, at least try to reduce it. One way to do that is to meditate. Meditation will help clear your mind of that myriad of thoughts, calm you and give you a fresh new perspective on things.
And, don’t forget to get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep can make you eat more, have insomnia and can make you look not so good: baggy eyes, dark circles…the whole baggage.
It’s all about confidence and the way you feel in your own body. Trust your capabilities and don’t be afraid to take risks in any aspect of your life. A confident woman is a sexy woman who always knows what she wants and will definitely get it.
Take care of your skin!
Another aspect of being fabulous is your precious skin and what you do to nourish it. The most important thing in my opinion is to protect your skin from the sun. Always use creams with SPF 15 in the winter and SPF 30 during summer. Also, choose products that are designed for your skin type.
Besides all the important steps in taking care of your skin on a daily basis, you must not forget about exfoliating, which you can do at least once a week if not twice.
Another thing will be the make-up that you use. Try to use a hypoallergenic one to avoid the risk of allergies.
These are just a few tips so you’ll get the idea. I will try later to write some special posts on each subject. But, for the moment, if you apply some of these advices you will, for sure, be fabulous and gorgeous.
And don’t forget to smile! “I think that anybody that smiles automatically looks better”, said Diane Lane and is so true and easy to do it.
