Get ready for summer
Summer is approaching fast, and probably one of the most common problem I have is about my feet. If you are wondering why, it’s because your feet are probably the last part of your body you think about, until they start somehow hurting. Only because of that, they should be important for your look and for your health.
Only if all of that you would’ve been so easy, well it’s not, just realize that your feet absorb the impact of your full body weight with every step, and if your weight is fluctuating, well, maybe you have noticed some problems like cracked skin, corns, fungal infections or even damaged bones.
Wearing the right shoe is very important, so if you are a fashionista wearing high heels even when you are shopping at the farmer’s market, just keep it low for a while, let your feet relax in sneakers!
The muscles in your feet need exercise just like your abs! But you can’t really do them at the gym, so instead you can power walk for 30 min a day, every day, to keep your leg, foot and toes fit and healthy!
But what can I do after a long day trapped in a pair of uncomfortable shoes?
How to make my own spa at home for great feet in no time? After researching the web I found out some tips and tricks for any problem!
Bacteria and fungi problems can make your life and feet look horrible, so don’t ignore washing between your toes with soap, and be sure to wipe after well so that bacteria won’t appear immediately! Always wear cotton socks and take care of your nails, avoiding this way ingrown nails.
If you have like I do swollen feet, try taking a 30 min bath, it works wonders in reducing the water retention that causes edema in your body!
Your feet smell bad, so get rid of odor fast!
Use antiperspirant. Yes ,the same type you apply under your arms. Just use it with a night before wearing shoes, and not right before going out!
Keep a mixture of 1/2 regular vinegar and 1/2 isopropyl alcohol. Dribble this daily over and between your toes and irritated skin on the feet and spread it. The vinegar kills fungus and the alcohol inhibits or kills bacteria.
Try doing a tea soak. Soak your feet in tea 30 minutes a day for one week. The tannic acid in the tea will dry out your skin!
