I wanted to write an introductory post for our absence in the last few months but I didn’t find the time…I don’t know what is happening to me lately but I lose track of time and I can’t finish what I had in mind for the day.
Oh well….I will organize myself better in the future but, for now…in case you’ve missed it…We’re back baby…and we will find the time for our precious blog :).
I write this post because yesterday was the 67th EMMY’S award and something special happened. So, surprisingly, I won’t write about best and worst dresses…at least not in this post….maybe the next one…I just wanted to get in line with those who applaud Viola Davis.
She won the award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her lead role as Annalise Keating on “How to Get Away with Murder”. Great TV show…I am a big fan. I can’t wait to see the second season. Only two more days of waiting 🙂
But that’s not way I started writing this post. I just wanted to state the obvious and say…Viola, outstanding speech!!! What can I say…You are a wonderful woman and made a Great Moment!
She said simple and to the point – “The only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity,”…and it’s not all….you can see her speech below….and I can say it empowers you…I’ve got goose pumps.
I leave you, for now, with Viola Davis…but I will get back with another post soon…where I will talk about important stuff like… who wore it best 🙂
