Keep your head up! And your hair strong and shinny!
Today my hair looked amazing, and it was only because I’ve found in the past year some great recipes, all natural, that I’ve regularly used on my hair. When I splurge I go big, going and buying a great professional mask, but there are some days when I have to get my hair fixed with barely no money. After talking to girlfriends I found out some great mask recipes that I absolutely loved after first application. This is how I (almost) quit spending money on professional hair care, and adopted the natural way!
Hair Mask with olive oil, castor oil, vitamin A, honey and egg yolk.
This is a traditional moisturizing hair mask easy to make. Ingredients: ½ small cup of olive oil,2 teaspoons of castor oil, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 egg, Vitamin A .
To prepare this mask simply heat a little the oils, never use the microwave, it has to be a just a little heated, and add the yolk and mix it with a fork. Apply the mask and keep it at least 60 minutes and if you can keep it over night is great!
It is known that olive oil is very good at moisturizing the scalp and hair. Castor oil regularly used on hair roots and scalp is useful for hair growth, thickens hair, it is a dry hair treatment, and helps repair split ends. Egg yolk is rich in protein, vitamins and fatty acids.
Banana and Honey mask
1 ripe banana and a couple of tablespoons of honey
It is so simple to make this mask, especially if you are in a hurry! Just get that banana in a bowl, smash the heck out of it and add some honey! Yeah, sometimes doing this mask I find myself eating a little of the puree …it’s so yummy!
Put the mash on your head, massage your hair with it, wait 40 minutes and rinse…but rinse it well or you’ll find some banana pieces still stuck on your hair! Great mask for smooth silky hair!
Avocado, olive oil and coconut oil hair mask
This is by far the best mask for dull and thin hair! Just get a ripe avocado, mash it, add 1 ½ tablespoons of coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Apply it on hair, and leave it for one hour or so.
Rinse and apply shampoo and conditioner! If you have very dry hair due to styling and dying, a great tip is to get organic coconut oil and use it daily on end splits everyday!
