Many of our health problems come from lack of oxygen. If you look at a baby you’ll notice his perfect breathing, he inhales the optimal amount of oxygen, deep from its diaphragm which equals pure health. Instead, we, as we age our breath becomes shallow which will lead to a week immune system, tiredness, bad memory, lack of focus and many other diseases.
But like every problem there is always at least one solution and in this case breathing techniques come to the rescue.
Even if you don’t have time, you must remember one important thing: breathe deeply! Oxygen is the most important food for your body: blood, organs and nerves. So start breathing deeply at least 60 times per day. Make a mental note and start this new healthy habit.
And the simplest breathing technique is the traditional practice of breath meditation where you stand still, close your eyes and follow the flow of your breath. As you breathe in start counting to 6 then exhale counting to 6. After you repeat 5 to 10 times try to count till 10 on inhale and then on exhale.
Try to really observe each breathe, the natural flow of each inhale and exhale. Take your time and do not rush. You will see, how in time, your breathing will improve and you will feel so much better.
