There’s a smoothie mania out there, especially in Hollywood. Celebrities are spotted drinking green smoothies almost everywhere: on their walk in the park or after gym. This must be one of their secrets for beautiful, clear skin, weight loss or elimination of toxins.
I, myself I am a big fan of smoothies. I drink them in the morning, in all sorts of combinations and I wrote about it here, if you want to read more. But now, I want to focus on the stars and share some of their smoothies recipes with you.
Jessica Alba’s go-to smoothie
In Ellen Show, the actress revealed her secret for losing weight after the baby and for detoxifying. All you need is some kale, an apple, a cucumber, several celery stalks, fresh peeled ginger, juice of a lemon, stevia, and some water. Add them in a blender, push the button and there you go: you have a perfectly healthy-yummy smoothie to drink. This juice is packed with fiber, antioxidants, beta-carotenes and vitamins like K, A, and B6, also magnesium, iron and so on.
Miranda Kerr’s super smoothie
Supermodel Miranda is also a big fan of healthy, organic food which also includes drinking smoothies in the morning. Her recipe sounds like this: 1 glass coconut water, 1 glass cold pressed coconut milk, 1 tbs acai powder, 1 tbs goji berries,1 tbs spirulina , 1 tbs raw cacao powder, 1 tbs maca powder , 1 tbs chia seeds, 1 tbs raw, vegan protein powder. Victoria’s Secret Angel has a not so secret smoothie recipe that she shared it with her fans on Instagram and also in the press. Besides gym and yoga she also is very careful what she eats, following a strict health regime which includes homemade smoothies. One of her smoothie recipe includes: 4 romaine lettuce leaves, 2 celery stalks, 1 cup fresh spinach, 1 apple, 1 pear, ½ banana, juice of ½ lemon and water.
Jenifer Aniston’s smoothie
This is a cleansing smoothie which the actress drinks once a week and has nothing else to eat or drink on that day. The recipe is like this: 6 organic cucumbers, 3 large organic beets, 2 bunches spinach, 1 bunch organic kale, fresh garlic and ginger, 1 bunch organic carrots, a stick of celery.
