The workout gear is ready
Spring has come so no more idling and procrastinating; it’s time to activate ourselves! I, for starters, I’m trying to change a little bit my way of living, which means: becoming more active. I don’t know why, but weather really influences me, and during winter I just want to stay in bed. I have no energy which it pisses me off and I get angry; I start doing something but then again I get concurred by the mood: I don’t feel like doing anything today. And that has to stop here!
Spring is the time to begin cleaning our mess. Besides decluttering our home or our closet let’s include our way of living too. My priority now, is to be more active. I started going to the gym a few months ago, but I just go twice a week which is not enough. Summer is coming and I want a killer beach body and that needs some work, baby. Sweat, sweat and then sweat some more. So, from next week I want to go at least three times at Pilates. I love this kind of exercise. I said it before and I will say it again, it’s perfect for me. And if someone says that you don’t really do anything at Pilates, that is boring, he is dead wrong. It’s true, that if you don’t do the exercises correctly, you don’t feel anything. That is why it seems you’re not working out. I almost always come home from the class exhausted but on the other hand full of energy and ready to kick ass.
Returning to my main goal this spring, besides going at least 3 times a week to Pilates I want to go swimming and go to the park weekly with the roller blades. I already started power walking every night with my dog and boyfriend. And every weekend we go to the park and power walk a few good miles so I thing I’m on the good track, no? I also forgot to tell you that, a few times a week, I jump the cord. Beach body here I come! Wait for me, be patient!
