My new Sunscreen: Avene-Very High Protection Cream SPF 50+
This is by far one of the most interesting products I have ever used. To be honest it’s really a new purchase and maybe I am a little overwhelmed but I think it is a keeper for this summer. Firstly it is non-comedogene and paraben free, which is a plus! The texture is creamy and it absorbs fast into the skin, and leaves it protected and very soft, but not oily!
It has an MPI-SORB that protects the skin against UVB / UVA rays and combines patented mineral screens .It also contains: Vitamin E ,anti-oxidants to helps the skin reinforce its natural barrier,Curbita Pepo which regulates the sebum and of course the famous Avene Thermal Spring Water well known to its soothing, anti-irritant properties.
The cream is not heavily scented, and this is a big plus for my nose, for the simple reason that I can not stand how creams usually smell. Since now, as we are still in the middle of Spring, I couldn’t see how it would react on a very hot day! But after I went for a run wearing a protective layer of sunscreen cream on my face and seeing that there wasn’t even a little white line dripping from my face, my honest opinion is that it can face the heat proudly!
Not to mention that the Spf 50+ protects you well for a couple of hours, still after a day wearing the sunscreen on my face, I saw that it became a little red right under my T zone, but it might have been because of the heavy make up I was wearing all day long. Although it is not one of the products I would recommend if your skin is very thin or sensitive, you can give it a try as an alternative for the your normal Spf cream.
