Another magical post about my constant everyday problem: my face shape, my daily need of changing it somehow and the difference between ‘before and after’ my newest eyebrow tweeze.
Yes, as mentioned before, I am a fan of big, daring eyebrows, I simply love looking a Cara’s fierce brows as a constant reminder that women are powerful and amazing and they should be proud of expressing themselves through their image. BTW ..We are no angels
And for the past 2 or 3 years, this trend clearly changed our perpsective of thin face and angel look replacing it with a happy ,natural one, that understands us like never before. I’ve got far from the days when I was just tweezing my brows like nuts without ever giving them a proper shape. Now I am careful with every pull, I tweeze just a bit and maybe I trim some of the rebel hairs. And because the shape is as natural as it gets, I finally realized my face looks better like this. But this is not enough..I needed a proper filler
Fill in the gaps with what you like , but do it softly
On my constant obsession of finding the perfect eyebrow kit, I’ve tried a couple of products like gels and powders, but nothing worked like the brow pen. I suppose, for me, it’s just perfect as it is, and for now, I don’t need to chage it. Filling the brows it can be tricky at first , but the essential tip is to get started by watching tutorials and practicing in the mirror. Sometimes I filled the too much, but after a while you will realise less is more, because the shape should be natural and not over exposed, so make sure to use a little brush after filling them to soften the color because you really don’t want a scary look!
Why am I saying that is because I’ve seen so many women trying to arch their brows so much as they looked constantly surprised by someting.
As I’ve learned from my common mistakes, a shaped brow balances natural features, shaping the look in a calming manner.
There was another issue I’ve had with the shade of the brow. I’ve always felt that brown-to-black eyebrows are too much for me, so I had to lighten them a bit. After a couple of failed tries , I realised another crucial thing, you can never underestimate the power of brown/blonde brows and the versatility of them.
They are just perfect combination for me, as I dye my hair light blonde. It also works great with my brow pen and this new overall look on me, works. Maybe I was a bit lucky and all, but please do not do this at home without seeing a professional at first, because you will probably ruin you shape and brow color.
Eyebrows trends for 2015
Continuing with 2015’s eyebrow trends, I’ve seen a lot of new things that caught my crictic eye, some were scary, some bold, some were very, very old!
Sophia Loren is the new brow icon, some love to play a lot with brow rings and my favorite look consists in bold colored brows in shades of neon pink green or blue. That’s what I call a great rave look!
With no doubt these trends will fal apart somehow, but 2015 is STILL the fierceful eyebrow’s year, so go ahead, get busy growing hairs ( with the help of coconut oil and vitamin E) instead of pulling them apart for no reason at all!
